What We Do:

In addition to our shows, Adam competes in the NATC/AMA Observed Motorcycle Trials National Championship in that series' top tier of competition. When Adam first began competing in this series, he entered in the national High School Class, beginning with a win and continuing to perform well until he had won that class for the season. Adam is the only Floridian to win a National Trials Championship title, and one of only a very select few to ever go on to contest the National "Championship" class among the elite of the sport. In his very first season riding that class he achieved the ranking of #9 in the country, catching the eyes of many individuals within the trials competition community, and Adam is expected to improve upon that finish in the 2003 season. Between his national, regional, and local competitions and his show stunt work, Adam has the opportunity to afford companies and products with a significant level of exposure. With 2003 bookings barely begun, Adam is set to perform in more than fifty shows throughout the country, and to compete in more than fort competitions--as show schedules permit. If you think there may be some sponsorship interest within your organization, please review the rider resume below and respond to us with any questions you may have regarding what we can do for you and what we are looking for.

The Sport:
Observed motorcycle trials is like no other sport, and unique unto itself within all forms of motorcycling. Unlike other forms of motorcycle competition the emphasis is not principally on speed, and is not a race in that sense of the term. Riders are scored on their ability to remain balanced and negotiate the most severe terrain organizers can find and create, where they accumulate penalties for every use of the foot for balance and every stop. The objective is for a rider to have the lowest score of the day through as flawless a negotiation of the extreme terrain as he or she can manage. Riders also receive penalties for missing markers, going outside of section bounds, and failing to make obstacles. The sport requires complete control, exceptional balance, incredible skill, and absolute and complete confidence. It is like gymnastics on a motorcycle, and has often been described as “ballet on wheels” by spectators in commentaries. Riders take their machine through a marked section littered with steep hill climbs, big steps, loose rocks, boulders, logs, and artificial obstacles, representing something that most people cannot even imagine a motorcycle being capable of doing. The spectators have the unique opportunity to watch the competitors from a mere few feet away from the rider. Regardless of their understanding of the sport, once someone witnesses one of these events, they walk away always remembering the event and its most outstanding competitors. On the international level the sports’ governing body has been officially recognized by the 2000 Olympic committee, and is aiming to include trials as either an event or demonstration sport in one of the next winter Olympics. In 2000 Cycle News rated the NATC/AMA Observed Trials National Championship as the 2nd most prestigious amateur series in motorcycling and in a recent online Cycle News poll the sport was voted the most popular fringe racing competition. Trials is also one of the few forms of motorcycling competition experiencing a strong growing trend, gaining more and more notoriety and exposure every day.

Racing Background:
I entered the sport at the local club level at the age of 14, skipping the organization’s lower classes, entering as an “Intermediate” rider. After finishing near the top of that class, I made the quickest jump ever witnessed by the Florida Trials Association in its history by jumping into the top tier of competition before the midpoint of the next season. At the age of 15 this placed me as not only the club’s youngest “Expert” level rider, but also the youngest rider in the club’s twenty-five year history. In my first full season of competition, I achieved a ranking of #3, marking the most outstanding first year season by any rookie rider in the state organization’s top class. This same year marked my entrance into the NATC/AMA National Trials Championship. I made my debut in the opening rounds of the 1999 series in Texas with a win in the High School Class, and went on to win the U.S. High School Class Championship Title. Since that season I have been moving quickly through the series’ class system with regular podium finishes and wins. This past season marked my debut into the National Championship Class, where I competed against the nation’s elite and numerous international contenders. While riding against some of the most experienced and skilled competitors in the sport, I have managed to reach the ranking as the #9 rider in the National Championship Series.

2003 Plans and Goals:
To optimize my season rankings, I plan to ride all ten rounds of the National Series, scattered throughout the U.S, while also competing in local, state, and regional competitions and performing in exhibitions at major shows and events throughout the country. As scheduling permits, I also hope to contest major non-national events throughout the country. I also plan to continue my involvement working and training with youth competitors, and giving riding schools to new riders at the local level. For 2003-I hope to present a dangerous threat for wins in any of the national championship events, and obtain some podium finishes. During this time I will also be attending college seeking a business degree, working with dealers for Gas Gas Trials machines, and work on footage for an eventual video.

Plans For The Future:
My eventual goal is to become the U.S. Trials champion and do my part in bringing American’s to the forefront of international competition. I also hope to continue the growth of my motorcycle entertainment shows and acquire more and more jobs as large-scale events throughout the country. I plan to eventually release a video showcasing my shows, riding at various unique locations, and competition footage from national and international events.

How I will Add Value to Your Company:
Both at and outside of competitions, I possess a serious and professional attitude and always do my best to provide positive exposure for my supporters. The nature of my machine, the sport, and my show work together to present an extremely unique spectacle for spectators, providing a sight that they are sure to remember and take notice of. For both competitions and shows, my team and I work hard to establish a strong presence with our uniforms, truck, bikes, and trailers. As I travel throughout the country to these events I will continually be providing exposure for your name, and something memorable for your name to be associated with. My sponsors are always listed where possible in competition entry forms, displayed on my Website, on my T-shirts, and on my competition equipment. I also list my title sponsors in any press or media interviews taken, and have given interviews or been seen in such publications as Spot On Magazine, Dixie Biker Illustrated, Sportbike Extreme, Full Throttle Magazine, Trials Competition, Sport Rider Magazine, the Tampa Tribune, the Sumter County Times, and other local newspapers. All varying levels of sponsorship will achieve advertising exposure commensurate to the support received. Product sponsorships are also greatly appreciated provided the product serves some benefit to the race team.
